A film by Eric Roach Denis

Tickets denounces a police tactic of issuing large numbers of fines for minor offences to the homeless. As a result, the homeless are “chased” out of public places, sometimes ending up in prison. Directed by Éric “Roach” Denis (Punk le vote: Roach en élection), himself a former homeless person who received numerous tickets, the documentary examines the social, financial and human costs of criminalizing Montreal's homeless. From the Justice Department to the streets to the Quebec National Assembly, Les tickets investigates the violated rights of a vulnerable community.
